Old School RuneScape Membership Price Increased Due to Brexit | Playerauctions News

LOS ANGELES - May 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Jagex will be increasing the prices of membership fees due to rising development costs as a result of Brexit.

The new subscription rates, which will be implemented on June 4 this year, are slated to be as follows:

·         1 Month - $10.99 / £6.99 / €9.49

·         3 Month - $29.99 / £18.99 / €25.99

·         6 Month - $54.99 / £34.99 / €47.99

·         12 Month - $99.99 / £62.99 / €88.99

This will, however, only affect new players, players who will only be getting a Runescape membership by the time the price hike will take effect, and those who will not be able to pay their subscriptions after 14 days upon the time of implementation.

On a related note, the price of Old School Runescape bonds, in-game assets that are sold by Jagex for real-life currency that are tradable in-game for OSRS gold and can be consumed for subscription time, will also be raised.

The new bond prices will be as follows:

·         1 Bond - $6.99 / £3.99 / €5.69

·         3 Bonds - $20.99 / £11.99 / €17.09

·         5 Bonds - $34.99 / £19.99 / €28.49

·         10 Bonds - $69.99 / £39.99 / €56.99

Jagex said the increase of the prices ofsubscription and bonds to ensure RuneScape's continued operations.
