HOUSTON - May 2, 2018 - PRLog -- The National Hispanic Entrepreneurs' Organization (NHEO) Institute, a U.S. non-profit focused on the construction and engineering industry, is excited to announce it will be partnering with Procore Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based applications for construction, for the purpose of supporting the Building a Safe Future campaign.

NHEO Institute strives to honor and improve the safety and health conditions for workers in construction sites across America. Hazards and accidents are often easily preventable with education and care, but messages may be difficult to convey when there are cultural and language barriers.

NHEO Institute  works to break down those barriers to improve conditions for Hispanic construction owners, workers, and their spouses and children, and has started the Building a Better Future campaign to spread the word.

"We are delighted to partner with Procore to improve safety and health conditions for all construction workers across the country. Their commitment to the construction industry and the communities it serves is aligned with our vision. This partnership will provide great resources to support our national campaign and better serve our community, and we look forward for a long-term collaboration." said Max Cruz-Gallardo, NHEO Institute Board member who works for Bechtel Corporation.

For the partnership, NHEO Institute members will gain early access for Procore's program, Procore Safety Qualified. It is an online learning system used to give construction professionals easy access to information, technology, and materials they need for proper safety awareness at job sites. On the website, users will find free information pertaining to the five most common OSHA safety violations.

"Procore's partnership with NHEO Institute signifies our commitment to increasing awareness about safety while focusing our efforts to support under-represented groups within the industry. Proctor creates a platform to empower the industry through diversity and inclusion," said Danielle Edberg.

NHEO Institute will also participate at Procore's Groundbreak Conference this year in Austin, Texas, November 13th to 15th. Groundbreak is known as the biggest construction conference of the year, totaling more than 3,000 attendees representing the top ENR companies. Also, Procore and NHEO Institute will be collaborating on a safety webinar in the fall, touching on what kind of tools improve safety, with a look at digital inspections.
