Follow on Google News | The Fire's Not Out!: #MeTooMcCool & Forever Fierce Catalyst Talk About Tony RobbinsThe Hour-Long Interview Stokes the Flames that Tony Robbins Attempted to Extinguish
By: Forever Fierce Media "I'm tired of being ashamed of being a victim – we've made that word so shameful – and I just decided I wasn't having any more of that…I reject it." In the interview, McCool explains to Forever Fierce Media Talk Show Host Catherine O'Connell, "I embrace the victim within me because she is a powerful force that understands the point is to survive, to live another day…How can I be ashamed of that?" McCool made national news in March when she confronted Tony Robbins during one of his seminars. A video of the encounter went viral and sparked interviews between McCool and Megyn Kelly Today, as well as with Nightline. However, McCool declined an opportunity to speak to CNN in favor of a more transparent conversation with "Midlife Cat-alyst" O'Connell, who describes herself as "someone who engenders thought, reflection, desire, and passion to initiate change in others that may not otherwise occur." She likens the interaction to a chemistry example: "If you put a lump of coal in a beaker with oxygen, nothing happens. Add the flame as a catalyst, and you create a reaction that produces something more." The pairing undoubtedly works: · O'Connell, who nearly died three years ago while battling Lyme Disease, is also a #MeToo survivor. · The conversation between the two women displays the unique juxtaposition of ferocity and vulnerability as it relates to survivorship. · This hour-long feature explores how Robbins' interaction with McCool caused a triggering of past traumas in McCool – and yet, it subsequently re-ignited her gratitude and passion for a continued dialogue as an advocate. The interview concludes with a distinct call-to-action directed at Robbins. The show in its entirety can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/ Ironically, Robbins' uses firewalking exercises as a metaphor representing the courage, strength, and faith it takes to get through difficult experiences. His website suggests that "Firewalking — like life — is not completely without risks. But those risks pale in comparison to the rewards." McCool and O'Connell are counting on it, asking Robbins to take that step. ### Catherine Grace O'Connell, is an LA-based Talk Show/Podcast Host, Inspirational/ Related Links: YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/ Website https://catherinegraceo.com Podcast on LA Talk Radio http://www.latalkradio.com/ Forever Fierce Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/ https://www.instagram.com/ CatherineGraceO Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/ #ForeverFierce #AgeIsJustANumber End
