Philips introduces new SpeechExec Enterprise dictation and transcription software
New software offers full mobile functionality to speed the document creation process and enables easier IT administration
Smarter communication and convenient central administration
For users working in any professional setting, including hospitals and legal practices, the new SpeechExec Enterprise introduces improved capabilities that make it easier than ever for IT administrators to seamlessly manage virtually all elements of the solution across their organization. This capability allows all workflow settings, including the hardware input devices, to be centrally administrated and configured. The solution is also Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Citrix and VMware ready, making the installation process easier and more convenient for both users and IT administrators.
"Philips SpeechExec Enterprise is perfect for larger organizations with multiple authors and transcriptionists, as it can easily be centrally administrated and maintained,"
Mobility for increased productivity
The new version of Philips SpeechExec Enterprise offers more mobility, meaning recordings can be created anywhere and sent for transcription immediately. Voice files recorded on a smartphone are automatically routed from the device to SpeechExec Enterprise and entered into the worklist queue, while assistants and transcriptionists can access the solution from any browser to begin transcribing online at any time. These new automation and web access features further support busy professionals and enable a seamless workflow even when they are out of office.
The software also pairs with Philips SpeechLive transcription and speech recognition service, allowing users to receive their transcribed files directly to their smartphone or Philips SpeechAir voice recorder on-demand. Further, mobile security features help organizations protect their data. Real-time file encryption (256 bit), password protection and secure file transfer grant only authorized individuals to access documents, while the optional automatic backup function protects data against accidental loss.
