An exciting new musical is using Crowdfunder.com to raise money towards a development week and public performance at Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Other Palace Theatre in London in July 2018

Southampton writers Kenneth Clarke and Richard Daniels are running a 35- day crowdfunding campaign to raise £6,000. The crowdfunding link is live at:

An amazing 15% of the target was raised in the first eight hours of the launch!

The performance of THE 43 CLUB at The Other Palace will be in a cabaret setting,        in which the audience will be an integral part.

Set in the decadent hedonism of the 1920's, THE 43 CLUB tells the inspiring true story of Kate Meyrick who left her unfaithful husband and arrived in Soho with eight children to support. She overcame a puritanical Home Secretary, police raids and numerous terms of imprisonment, to become the Queen of London's nightclubs.

Yet 85 years after her death, the trailblazing exploits of a woman who shone a torch for female independence has largely gone unrecognised.

£6,000 will help pay for actors, musicians, director, stage manager, plus choreographer, costumes, props and set design. This will ensure that the first public performance of THE 43 CLUB will be a night to remember.

THE 43 CLUB is a great story of one woman's personal triumph in the face of adversity.

London producers and production companies agree:
