The Hanover Mall Announces Busy Spring Line-up of Events
Beginning in May that Spindles Auto Club will be adding their classic cars to the outdoor parking lot during the Tuesday night Food Truck Rally. Customers can sample all the great food options while strolling amongst the classic cars on display. The Food Truck Rally will continue on Tuesday nights through October 30th.
The mall will also be hosting The Heart Gallery which is a physical portrait display of children currently in foster care looking to be adopted for the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange at Center Court throughout the month of May. The Heart Gallery is a physical portrait display of children currently in foster care that are available for adoption. The Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange has been connecting children in foster care with permanent, loving families. In Massachusetts, nearly 2,800 children currently in foster care have the goal of adoption, and more than 800 of those children have no relative or other potential adopter. Nationwide, there are over 112,000 children in foster care in need of adoption. Older, school-aged children, sibling groups, children of color and/or children with special needs tend to wait the longest for families. There are children from across the Commonwealth and right here in western Massachusetts who are eager for a connection to a family. MARE supports the placement of these children by helping to connect waiting children with families; all while helping to support the process, provide education and deliver necessary resources.
The Mall is currently offering 3,000 square feet of space for meetings, seminars and events and There They Grow Again Kids Consignment Sale in the former AC Moore space will be held on May 18-20.
"We have a busy spring lined up here at the Hanover Mall," said Ed Callahan, General Manager of the Hanover Mall. "We invite the public to stop in and see the local businesses and events and enjoy The Food Truck Rallies on Tuesday nights throughout the summer."
