Newport Beach Film Festival To Showcase An Exclusive Screening Of Swedish Cinema

Newport Beach, Calif.(April 2018) – On Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 the 19th annual Newport Beach Film Festival presented by Pacific Sales will present its Swedish Spotlight, an evening celebration of Swedish cinema and culture. The event will feature the Southern California Premiere of the highly-acclaimed film, Ravens (Korparna),followed by a festive post-screening celebration.

"The Festival continues a strong tradition of presenting the very best in Swedish cinema," stated Gregg Schwenk, CEO of the Newport Beach Film Festival. "Ravens (Korparna) was a hit at the Toronto and Rotterdam Film Festivals. We are excited to have the Southern California Premiere."
The Spotlight film, Ravens (Korparna),will screen on Tuesday, May 1st at 7:15 pm at The Triangle (1870 Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa, CA 92627) with a post-screening celebration taking place at 9:30 p.m. at Time Nightclub (1875 Newport Blvd B245 Costa Mesa, CA 92627).
The evening will feature a hosted bar by Tito's Handmade Vodka, with signature tastings by top Orange County restaurants, multiple DJs and live entertainment.
The Swedish Spotlight is supported by The Consulate of Sweden – San Diego, The Swedish American Chambers of Commerce – Los Angeles and San Diego, Nordic Wonders, The Swedish Press, VASAand SWEA - OC and SWEA - LA.
Admission to the Swedish Spotlight film and the post-screening party is $45.00.
