TVS Television Network Launches TVS Consumer Direct.Com 'Direct To Consumer' Home Shopping Network
Iconic Cable TV Advertising Executive Jerry Wolff heads a new, post cable home shopping network for mobile, IPTV, and OTT services direct to consumers. TVS Consumer Direct.Com and TVS Ad Sales.Com will jointly operate the network.
Jerry Wolff, the iconic cable advertising sales pioneer, will head both TVS Consumer Direct.Com and TVS Ad Sales.Com to operate the direct to consumer home shopping network.
TVS Television Network was founded in 1960. It is the fourth oldest commercial broadcast television network in the USA. Prior to the advent of cable television, TVS was a leading independent TV network providing, sports, music, and entertainment programming on a national basis to TV stations. TVS also
pioneered national advertising opportunties for smaller companies with national distribution to become national TV advertisers.
In the 1980's, it was Jerry Wolff who established commercial advertising on regional sports networks throughout the country. Wolff's break through projects with Budweiser and Goodyear established the regional sports networks as national advertising outlets.
Wolff also established national advertising opportunties for smaller companies such as Sharp Electronics, Lavoris, Porcelana, Crazy Glue, Canada Dry, Heet, and Norelco to be able to utilize a national advertising opportunity on limited budgets.
TVS Consumer Direct.Com currently features Time Life, Guthy Renker, and other national infomercial providers for programming on the video on demand direct to consumer IPTV, OTT, and Mobile video network.
TVS Ad Sales.Com is also working with Atwood Richards and Pepper Thomas in providing advertising in return for barter products from companies.
