Kirsten Samuel's "Choosing a Way Out: When The Bottom Isn't The Bottom" Receives Award Nomination

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - April 24, 2018 - PRLog -- "Choosing a Way Out: When The Bottom Isn't The Bottom" written by Colorado Springs resident, Kirsten D. Samuel, is nominated for a 2018 Author Academy Award, an honor reserved for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry.

"Choosing a Way Out: When The Bottom Isn't The Bottom" is up for an award in the Favorite Memoir Book category and tells the story of a devoted Christian couple who find their marriage blindsided by a pornography addiction. A journey through pain begins to connect the dots between unresolved childhood trauma, addiction, anxiety, and PTSD. Redemption and reconciliation await both husband and wife and the reader.

Authors of all kinds—indie (self-published), traditional, or collaborative published—are being considered for the award in one of sixteen categories. Entries are being reviewed and evaluated on popular vote, social contribution, and overall presentation (cover, content, flow, and originality) by the Academy's voting membership comprised of best-selling authors, literary agents and industry leaders.
