An auction for ethical jewellery. Arabel Lebrusan raises funds for Pure Earth

April 24, 2018 - PRLog -- Joining an illustrious list of over 20 other designers from around the world, Arabel has donated one of her designs, which will be auctioned off to raise some of the funds needed to increase awareness about the toxic connection between gold mining and mercury.

Artisanal and small-scale gold mining is the leading cause of mercury pollution in the world, says Pure Earth (http://www.pureearth.org/), accounting for over 30% of global emissions.

About 10% to 25% of the world's total gold supply comes from artisanal gold mining.

Jewellery connoisseurs can bid (http://www.pureearth.org/pure-earth-benefit-auction-2018/) until April 23rd for the Arabel Lebrusan Filigree Links Ring, which was lovingly hand crafted from mercury-free gold, responsibly mined in Peru.

The same ring design, one of Arabel's best-selling, is also available to buy online, in 100% recycled silver plated with 18ct Yellow Gold.
