Dazed and Confused Star Jason London filming "Campton Manor" in Toronto
The film is written by Stephen Wallis and directed by Cat Hostick (The Meaning of Life)
The film is about an author/spiritualist named Teddy, who can see the dead, is coerced by a ghost named Jack to investigate a cold case of a mass murder that took place at a New Year's Eve party in the 1920's. Teddy's spiritualist ability allows him to go back in time and become a part of the original event. This supernatural talent will either solve the mystery of drive him completely mad.
A large portion of the movie was being filmed at an old mansion in Shanty Bay, Ontario - which was built by a survivor of the Titanic. The period has been captured well by shooting in an environment with so many authentic period elements.
Campton Manor is being produced by Magic Door Films; Stephen Wallis, Susan Illot and Mike Godfrey in association with North Film Co. run by Russ De Jong and Cat Hostick.
