Seminars to cover businesses built to last, disaster prep

FORT MYERS, Fla. - April 23, 2018 - PRLog -- Get in, get out and be safe. A pair of Above Board Chamber of Florida panel discussions will address the creation of enduring business models, exit strategies and disaster preparedness.

Michael Wynn, board chair and president of Sunshine Ace Hardware, will serve as master of ceremonies for the first seminar, leading a panel who will share wisdom on girding businesses for natural disasters. The panelists will be Brandie Packard Dickerson, vice president of Tri-Town Construction LLC; John Ingoglia, vice president of operations for Jarvis Property Restorations; and Dan Summers, director of the Collier County Bureau of Emergency Services. The luncheon meeting takes place Monday, May 7 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Hilton Naples, 5111 Tamiami Trail N.

The next seminar, with experts on business models built to last and ways to cash out, will be Thursday, May 10 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Pelican Preserve Town Center on 10561 Veneto Drive in Fort Myers. Master of ceremonies Kristyn Wellesley, digital media and audience engagement expert for the Naples Daily News, will lead a discussion featuring Lynn Rasnake, tax manager for Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company, P.A.; Joe Alter, owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers; and William Blevins, executive vice president of Encore.
