A PBS Stations Audience Report of airings issued quarterly by the PBS Research Department showing the number of broadcasts, total number of viewers, prime time/non-primetime and market share, is compiled and shared with every Spotlight On underwriter.
Previous underwriters for Spotlight On include hundreds of very well-known and very well-respected national Associations, Institutes, Societies and Fortune 500 companies, including the NIH, the CDC, Johnson and Johnson, Toyota, and many, many more.
PBS member stations have been rated as the most trustworthy institution among nationally known organizations for nine consecutive years. Over the course of a year, nearly 90% of all U.S. television households - and 220 million people watch PBS. In a typical month, 120 million people watch their local PBS stations.
