Orchard Audio Achieves Kickstarter Success

ROXBURY, N.J. - April 19, 2018 - PRLog -- A mere ten days into a thirty three day Kickstarter campaign, audio electronics start-up Orchard Audio (http://www.orchardaudio.com) has received full funding for its project, the ApplePi DAC.

ApplePi DAC ("digital-to-analog converter") is Orchard Audio's second product in an emerging line of high performance audio equipment. The driving goal behind ApplePi DAC's creation was to provide exceptional audio quality at a price point that is currently not available in the market, making high performance audio equipment attainable to a wider range of consumers. After six months of development and testing, the newly-designed DAC is the highest performance sound card hat available for the Raspberry Pi.

Kickstarter is a global crowdfunding platform that brings together creative new products and concepts with potential investors. It is estimated that approximately 44% of all Kickstarter campaigns have ever been funded. To do so in such a short period of time demonstrates proof of concept. Early reviews of the ApplePi DAC state that: "The mid-range and truthiness of the music rivaled that of the other DACs I have on hand that cost significantly more" (The Audio Beatnik), and "This DAC is producing the most detailed sound to ever come out of my Raspberry PI..." (Volumio).

Orchard Audio president Leo Ayzenshtat expressed his gratitude for the early donors' support: "We knew that there was a need for a DAC of this quality to be made available to a wider range of audio enthusiasts, but for the audiophile community to rally behind a new product so quickly has been exciting. It fuels us to continue designing and to provide the highest quality products on the market."

Currently the ApplePi DAC is still only available through Kickstarter, here:

The Kickstarter campaign will continue to run until May 13, 2018, where the ApplePi DAC is still available at a discount.
