Free First Thursday Nights are made possible by TD Bank. As always, Free First Thursday Night also presents a variety of art forms and invites visitors to get creative themselves! · Enjoy live jazz music in the galleries with the sweet sounds of Dr. Lou & the Jazz All Stars. · Be inspired to get up and dance at a live Flamenco Dance performance and demonstration with Admission Nation, 6–7 p.m. · Take a docent-led tour of MAM's Native American art collection at 6:30 p.m. and the special traveling exhibition Kay WalkingStick: · Experience a musical performance of "Singers and Songwriters: · Join the Yard School of Art for a Draw Along Workshop offering a free drawing session with a clothed model and guided art instruction for all ages. · A special Mother's Day give away, courtesy of TD Bank. Any mom with a TD Bank card can pick up a free admission pass to MAM for two! · Discover the beauty of raku, a unique pottery firing process, at MAM's ceramic studio. · New! Teen Space welcomes teens with a free open studio, 7–9 p.m. · Learn more about Montclair Reads with the Montclair Public Library and pick up your free copy of Cheaper By the Dozen. · Enjoy community info tables in Leir Hall, featuring the League of Women Voters · Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Art in Bloom with origami master, Edward Misretta! Misretta will be leading an Art in Bloom themed origami demonstration. Free First Thursday Night's MAM Art Bar offers a variety of drinks, including wine, cocktails, and NJ Beer Co. beer, the exclusive beer of Free First Thursday Night. Museum members receive a discount on drinks at the bar. Guests can also grab a bite from featured food vendors including Thai Elephant and BroRitos food truck.
