It also helps the abdominal muscles to contract which enhances the kidney, liver and pancreas function. To assume the pose, lie on your back and keep the arms on either side, with the palms facing the ground. Inhale and lift your legs up till they are perpendicular to the ground. Ensure that the legs are straight and the toes are pointing upwards. Try and stay in this pose for some time and then return to the original position.

Pawanmukt asana:

Also known as the Wind releasing pose, this yoga posture helps to get relief from constipation, gastric issues, and kidney stones. To assume the pose, lie down on the floor. Then bring your knees close to the chest and hold them in your hands. Take a few deep breaths in this position. Try and stay in this posture for as long as you are comfortable and then release and return to the original position gradually.

Bala asana:

Also known as the child pose, this yoga posture helps to prevent the kidney stones from forming and also relieves the symptoms. Moreover, this posture further helps to improve your digestion power and relieves cramps in the stomach. To assume the pose, sit with the butt resting on your heels on the floor.

Bring your hands above your head and while breathing out, bend forward slowly till the forehead touches the floor. Ensure that your arms are outstretched and the palms are facing the floor. Try and stay in this position for some time and then relax and come back to the original position.

Trying out yoga to deal with kidney stones is indeed a worthy experiment, but it is important for you to note that the effect of yoga for kidney patients varies from person to person, depending on the body structure, the symptoms, and the diet.
