Grassroots Medicine and Wellness Center 420 VIP Event Supported by Miami Police Department

MIAMI - April 17, 2018 - PRLog -- This event marks the beginning of what is poised to become Miami's leading Cannabis Medicine and Wellness Center. This event will host celebrities, local political officials, retired and current professional athletes, alongside current patients of Dr. Damas.

The inclusion of Miami PD in the event marks the unity of the Wynwood community around medical cannabis.

Dr. Damas reported on Sunday, April 14, 2018, " We are honored to have the support of MPD. We look forward to working with MPD to keep our visitors safe and compliant. Also, we hope they enjoy themselves, too."

The event is open to public from 9am - 6pm. At 6pm, the 420 Event transitions to a VIP and invite only event. Media is encouraged to contact Grassroots Medicine and Wellness' Publicist Emalee Hyde for a limited number of press passes for the day.

Publicist Emalee Hyde comments, " We want our guests to feel welcome and comfortable. Any media on sight needs to be respectful to our VIP guests, which includes patients. Each patient is a Very Important Patient."

The event is open to public from 9 am to 6 pm.

The VIP portion of the event starts at 6 pm and is invite only.

10:30 am:

• Workshop "Benefits of CBD" led by Dr. Damas

11:30 am:

• Yoga with Alexi
• JoJos tea will have a tea bar with samples of JoJos' tea and Grassroots' CBD products
• Fruit platters and bagel breakfast served

12:00 NOON- 3:00 pm:

• Workshop : "How to Get Your Medical Marijuana License" led by Dr. Damas
• Sampling of Grassroots Medicine & Wellness Center products
• Raffle ticket registration

3:00 pm- 4:00 pm:

• Tarot reading by Zen
• Sound therapy by Sensi Magazine

5:00 pm:

• Yoga & Sampling of kombucha by Brew Life with informational session

6:00 pm: VIP & INVITE ONLY

• Live glass blowing by Pyrokinetic Glass
• Happy Hour w/ Meet and Greet
• Performance by Kristina Fitzsimmons
