Park Hyatt Seoul, The Lounge's Flower Afternoon Tea Set

SEOUL, South Korea - April 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Offering stunning city views and spring atmosphere streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, Park Hyatt Seoul's The Lounge on the 24^th floor is offering its flower afternoon tea set. Guests can enjoy tea or coffee with artistic items that engender a feeling of spring. The set will include caramelized jeung-pyun garnished with a flower on the top, sconewith cherry blossom Jam, flower-shaped earl grey cupcake, tarts and hibiscus red velvet cake. The Flower Afternoon Tea set will be available from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM from April5 through June 5, 2018, priced at KRW 38,000 per person (10% VAT included / no service charge / minimum of two people).

Savouries and desserts included in the Afternoon Tea Set are served on a Korean three-tier ceramic tray. Truly exquisite savoury items are available, including caramelized jeung-pyun, a kind of rice cake, with a flower as a garnish and a sandwich with sesame pesto and spinach toast. For the dessert items, guests can enjoy flower tart with cherry blossom mousse and cookie crumble, earl grey cupcake coated with flower-shaped sugar, hibiscus-flavoured red velvet cake, cockscomb and raspberry panna cotta, and orange blossom ganache lollipops. Especially lollipops are provided in an edible pot made with cocoa or green tea powder. As a side, cherry blossom jam, strawberry chilli paste espuma and clotted cream are prepared to complement each item's flavour and the sweet afternoon moment.

The set can be enjoyed with tea or coffee. Flower tea such as magnolia, cockscomb and mugwort tea adds a burst of spring in the mouth. A selection of premium green teas, including Juk-ro and Sejak, and traditional teas such as Jek-sal and omija as well as coffees are also available. At KRW 18,000 per person, guests can enjoy an additional glass of champagne. The set menu can change depending on the condition of each day's ingredients.

In addition, the three-tier ceramic tray was designed by Jaewon Lee, who was inspired by the Korean traditional door frame. The shades of the ceramic trays also create Korean traditional atmosphere.
