TallGrass celebrates Earth Month with fun, games, and support for environmental protection
By: TallGrass Spa and Salon
"We've done it all," says TallGrass owner Gail Sharp, "from walk-a-thons, to tree planting, to bake sales, and even collecting donations from staff who want to wear jeans to work on Earth Day. And every year, we get more creative about having fun with fundraising."
For 2019, these are TallGrass's Earth Month activities.
Seed Packet Giveaways – to remind that plants support bees, pollination, and biodiversity, and they protect against erosion, too
The 4ocean Bracelet – purchase of this bracelet, made from recycled materials, removes one pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines ($20 each)
Hopscotch for Charity – play hopscotch on the sidewalk in front of TallGrass to raise funds for Charity:Water, an Aveda project that provides clean drinking water in developing countries, and earn a chance to win Aveda products ($5 per game)
Eminence Product Purchase – a tree is planted in a developing country for every Eminence Organic Skin Care product purchased, with 12 million trees having been planted so far
Hug-a-Tree Campaign – pose with "Bruce the Spruce," take a photo, post it on social media, and earn a chance to win a gift basket of earth friendly goodies
