Send a Freelance Journalist To Turkey & Syria To Report On Crisis Online & Help Those In Need

Freelance Journalist is looking to risk it all by heading to Turkey and, if permitted into Syria. This is to report on the current crisis directly to online services in order for the world see what is happening & to help those in need.

EDMONTON, Alberta - April 10, 2018 - PRLog -- The reports of chemical attacks and the ongoing civil war in Syria has again brought the crisis into the international spotlight. The civil war has been going on for over 7 years and millions of people have been suffering as a result. I want to bring recording and satellite communications to the region in order to report from the front lines. I feel that the risk to personal safety is outweighed by the pain and suffering of millions in the region.

Border countries are suffering under the pressures of refugees in the hundreds of thousands. Unconfirmed reports of government initiated chemical attacks on men women and children, bombings wiping out communities, lack of food, water and shelter for hundreds of thousands of Syrians among other issues. A lack of medical and emergency services to the people in need is leading to more and more deaths. Money being raised will be used to not only travel there and report but also to help people in desperate need.

As I am not a large media conglomerate nor do I have the access to the large media outlets' equipment for taking into a potential war torn area, the equipment will need to be outright purchased for this purpose. This includes satellite communications as the local cellular and internet services are not going to be a reliable means of posting videos, reports and photos to online social media sites and other online feeds. As such, it is a very costly project for a small freelance journalist but one that is much needed to help those suffering in that region.

Any funds that are raised and not used will be contributed to humanitarian aid programs which are proven and have a history of success in the region and final accounting will be posted online at the end of the project. This is your opportunity to help bring truth to the world and get reports on the reality of what is happening. Let's use this opportunity to make a difference.
