A special advisor to Career Communications Group CEO & Chairman Tyrone Taborn, Henderson passed away on March 29.

Over his long career in media sales, new business development, and advertising, he worked for The International Herald Tribune Online, The New York Times, PitchBook, Inc., Investis Inc., Asset TV U.S., and Strategic Insight.
Henderson also volunteered with New York Public Radio, WNYC/WQXR, and served as a consultant to the Audience Development & Community Engagement department, the Brian Lehr Show, and The Greene Space – NY Public Radio's public performance space and webcasting studio.

Henderson won the Financial Communications Society's Annual "Financial Marketer of the Year" Award and served on the Ceremony Committee as Co-chair for more than a decade. He was also a member of the Board of Directors at Financial Communications Society.

Henderson taught several courses as an Adjunct Professor for Marketing, communications, promotion, advertising, direct marketing and interactive marketing at State University of New York's Fashion Institute of Technology.
