Sussex IM Names Kopp Vice President Of Manufacturing

SUSSEX, Wis. - April 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Sussex IM has named Kyle Kopp Vice President of Manufacturing, the company announced here today.

In this role, Kopp heads all strategic planning for manufacturing, including management of maintenance, secondary equipment, planning and team scheduling.  In addition, Kopp's charter is to continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance productivity and communication, and provide manufacturing advice, assistance and counsel.

Kopp's professional focus has always been plastics.  He was most recently Engineering Manager for Gateway Plastics, the high-volume manufacturer of rigid plastics for food packaging.  Previously, he was Project Engineer – Trade Sales and, later, Program Manager, for Rexam – Sussex, where he specialized in personal care packaging and directly managed manufacturing for key suppliers.  Earlier, Kopp was Mechanical Design Engineer for Tooling Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of injection molds for a diverse customer base.

In his new position, Kopp will report to Keith Everson, CEO, Sussex IM.

Kopp is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, with a B.S. degree in Engineering Technology.  A Six Sigma Green Belt, Kopp resides in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
