Follow on Google News | Conservancy of Southwest Florida to celebrate Earth Day with eco-friendly festival April 21By: Conservancy of Southwest Florida The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is inviting community members and area visitors to its 2018 Earth Day Festival, an eco-friendly event featuring fun for the whole family. The Earth Day Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 at the Conservancy Nature Center, 1495 Smith Preserve Way in Naples. Attractions include live animal programs, including an alligator feeding encounter, electric boat tours, live music, face painting, exhibitions and culinary treats served right out of food trucks. "Earth Day offers a great opportunity to celebrate nature and commit, or recommit, to protecting our natural environment and wildlife habitat," said Rob Moher, president and CEO of the Conservancy. "It's so important for the community to remain united in protecting our resources and animals, and the Earth Day Festival provides a great opportunity to engage guests of all ages." Reduced admission to the Earth Day Festival is just $10 for adults and $5 for youth; children under 2 years old are free. Admission is also free for Conservancy members.
