Mr. Awad started his legal career with a landmark lawsuit in the State of Oklahoma in 2010 when his work focused on civil rights and discrimination in the workplace. After receiving national recognition for his work in Oklahoma, Mr. Awad moved to New York, where he focused on issues of discriminatory policing and the over-aggressive prosecutions in low-income communities.
