The grand-prize also included $10,000 towards the prize taxes. On October 24, 2017, Mr. Boman made a $100 donation to enter the Chevelle Dream Giveaway. Little did he know that when he made his $100 donation, that he would end-up holding the winning ticket! "When I made a donation, I, of course, wanted to win the car but I also liked that my donation went to help some great causes,"he said. On Thursday, March 15, 2018, he received the news via telephone that he had won the Chevelle Dream Giveaway. "I couldn't believe it,"he said. "When I shared the news with my family, they couldn't believe it either. They kept saying 'No way!'Now they are all lining up for a ride." Mr. Boman considers himself a car guy but has always had a love for the Chevelle in particular, "I have wanted a Chevelle for a long time so this is a dream come true,"he said. Mr. Boman has been pipe welding for about 35 years and currently owns his own business where he does subcontracting for different companies. In his free time he loves to hunt. Mr. Boman will attend the Chevelle Dream Giveaway award ceremony on March 29, 2018 in Clearwater, Florida. His wife, Chastity, will accompany him. The public is welcome to attend. The ceremony will be broadcast live on Facebook and available for viewing on YouTube. New Beginning Children's Homes (NBCH) is a 501(c) 3 provider of family-style long-term residential care with a mission to provide foster children a safe and faith-centered family atmosphere where they can heal, grow, and be loved while working through difficult life issues.
