KETTERING, U.K. - March 27, 2018 - PRLog -- Artist Sandra Busby based in Heathfield, UK and Designer Tara Roskell from Northamptonshire, UK understand the importance of creativity to people's mental health and well being. Both creatives have taken part in various online art challenges and could see the enormous benefits they had. Not only did their work improve, but it connected them to other like-minded people and proved to be a highly effective stress reliever.

What was missing was a place to easily find the many different creative challenges that anyone can take part in, regardless of their level or ability. So, the duo created 'Kick in the Creatives', a Website, Facebook Group and Podcast that encourages people to be creative every single day.

'Kick in the Creatives' Co-Creator Tara Roskell said "We have been overwhelmed by the response we have had to the project. We have been moved by hearing how art and creativity have helped people through times of trauma, illness and grief."

Every month there are several creative challenges open to everyone, with optional prompts which help to remove the "I don't know what to create" issue. World Creativity and Innovation Week is just not long enough, creativity should be a part of people's lives all year long.

'Kick in the Creatives' has an incredibly supportive Facebook Group where both novice and experienced artists, can feel comfortable sharing their work without fear of judgement. It's a place where art is not about the result, but more importantly the process of creating. Whereas some people use meditation to relax their mind, art can have a similar effect.
