Indie Game Developer Releases 'Alien Gem War' Virtual Reality App for iPhone

LOS ANGELES - March 27, 2018 - PRLog -- A pair of Cardboard VR goggles and an iPhone are all you need for action-packed space war adventure.

Candlelight Stories, Inc. is releasing its first virtual reality app on the App Store Wednesday, March 28.

'Alien Gem War' is an immersive battle against enemy spaceships for control of energy gems in a retro sci-fi world.

Made for freely available Google Cardboard VR, the game is a whirlwind of space war survival that incorporates combat shooting, movement tactics, time management, and balancing various skills to outwit enemy aliens and transport energy gems off the planet surface.

Keeping things simple but constantly active was the goal during game development. The developer believes that in mobile VR it is important to make movement and control very easy. This game keeps things incredibly intuitive by using the player's aim to trigger actions and movements. Nearly everything in the game can be activated by simply looking. Use of a physical trigger on a pair of VR goggles is made purely optional.
