By: Pat Munger Construction Company, Inc. This ground-up project is driven by Michael Cormier, Project Manager, and James DeMaio, Project Supervisor. The new hospital is comprised of four exam rooms, cat and dog waiting areas, a radiology room, glass enclosed medical wards, an indoor exercise area and three doctor's offices, enabling BVH to perform their wide array of veterinary services more efficiently. This project incorporates a unique, "Colonial Salt Box," farmhouse design. As BVH owner Scott Gavaletz, D.V.M. explained, "The old farm property has been a landmark in town for over one hundred years. We wanted to continue the legacy, so we modeled the hospital after the original farmhouse." "Meeting the challenge of constructing a veterinary hospital with all modern amenities, while retaining the rustic charm of a Colonial farmhouse is exciting", said James Demaio, Project Supervisor. The project is anticipated to be complete in May 2018. Munger Construction is proud to help with the expansion of a business with such an impressive history and local reputation!
