Special Guest, NFL Hall of Famer and Three-Time Super Bowl Champion, Michael Irvin on Bonnie-Jill Laflin The Weekly Pass.

On this week's show, NFL Hall of Famer and retired Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Michael Irvin joined the panel to provide insight about NFL Free Agency and the upcoming Draft, takes on Laflin's "Top 3" game, pontificates on what the Cowboys should do with Dez Bryant, and entertains everyone with his answers to This or That and Tell Us Something We Don't Know.

Irvin's Thoughts on NFL Free Agency Winners

When asked who has cashed in the best during this year's run NFL Free Agency, Irvin offers, "I think the most important talent and the most important thing to gather here is not just what happens on the field".  He continues saying talent is important and says, "what's more important is personality, that I am allowing to come into my locker room and the personality that is going to lead in my locker room. I don't think we focus enough on that during free agency."  Irvin compares other individual sports to football, in which he exclaims is all about the teamwork, cohesiveness, and effort: "In football the locker room is so important because there is no success without each other … and I'm interested to see what happens with a Case Keenum in Denver".

The Playmaker on what the Cowboys should do with Dez Bryant

"It's all they're talking about in Dallas, 'what we're gonna do with Dez' and everybody's getting mad … 'we need some of his money back' … Dez Bryant has caught more touchdowns than ANY receiver in the NFL to date, since 2012".  Irvin continues, "but Dallas's problem is this – the Cowboys keep saying 'I hear people say we should get rid of Dez, but who else do you have to catch a pass?'"

Irvin talks NFL Draft

With the NFL Draft fast approaching, who is Michael's pick out of the top four QB's available: Baker, Rosen, Allen, or Darnold:  "We get into this every year, who we like the best, honestly I'm telling you skillset is very very minute to me – in this comparison. You have to bring a quarterback in the right place to make sure he succeeds."  He continues, "but I love the personality and the competitiveness of a Baker Mayfield."

Fan Session: Irvin proclaims Forty out of Forty!

The panel tossed a question to Irvin from a fan, asking how many catches he'd have if given 40 pass attempts today, "In this NFL? … Forty out of Forty! ... and then give me a 400-million-dollar contract!"
