L-Tron Corporation Senior Vice President Finalist for Victor Chamber Women of Excellence

VICTOR, N.Y. - March 21, 2018 - PRLog -- L-Tron Corporation is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Marketing Director Gayle DeRose, is a finalist for the Victor Chamber of Commerce 2018 Women of Excellence Jikohnsaseh Award. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on March 21^st 2018 to be held at the Ravenwood Golf Club.

The Jikohnsaseh Award recognizes women for their professional accomplishments, leadership, vision and wisdom. Winners are selected based on career experience, community involvement, leadership and a continued commitment to mentoring other women. The award winner will be "A woman who lives and/or works in Victor, who embodies the characteristics of Jikohnsaseh and has reached a level of professional achievement that is impressive or has contributed significantly to her chosen career field. This woman serves as a professional role model for all women and demonstrates significant professional achievement, leadership and mentoring" (Victor Chamber of Commerce).

Jikohnsaseh, a founder of the Iroquois Confederacy, was instrumental in forming the 5 Iroquois nations and spread a message of peace, health and justice. Gayle embodies the characteristics of Jikohnsaseh. She leads by example and is able to bring out the best in those around her. She mentors members of the Operations and Marketing teams and gives each of her employees a voice, encouraging them to grow both as individuals and within the company. This philosophy brings forth new ideas and encourages collaboration among team members. Gayle values continuous improvement, empowering stakeholders and upholding 100% quality standards.
