| ![]() Small company donates over £100,000 to charityA very small Flintshire company has donated over £100,000 to charitable causes.
By: Ten-Percent.co.uk Limited This year saw the company pass £100,000 in donations for the first time. Jonathan Fagan, Managing Director of the company, said "it never gets any easier donating to charity. There is nothing worse than working hard all year and then handing over 10% of the profits to someone else. Could you do it? We constantly encourage other businesses to follow suit but I understand why most are reluctant! With a name like Ten Percent we are a bit restricted in what we can do about our commitment to donating our profits. Once we have donated the money it is always nice to hear what the charities have spent the money on and we keep in touch with a number over the long term. The company donates to charity via a charitable trust and local recipients have included a number of local charities, Northop Hall Girls FC and Maeshafn Cricket Club. Donations for 2018 have been to a youth centre in Merseyside, a domestic violence project, a trust in Tanzania to pay for 4 children to attend school and the British Stammering Association. To see the company policy on donations please visit: [https://www.ten- We actively campaign against high pay in the charity sector and also encourage other businesses to donate a percentage of their profits to charity.
