-- The School District of Lee County will be recruiting prospective teachers, school administrators and educational staff at the University of Florida's (UF) "Careers in Education Fair," which will be held Wednesday, April 4 in Gainesville.
The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at Reitz Union on the campus of the University of Florida, 686 Museum Road in Gainesville. The event is open only to UF students and alumni.
Students interested in a career in education will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from The School District of Lee County, headquartered in Fort Myers, to learn more about the school system and eligibility requirements for future employment. The School District of Lee County is currently hiring for the upcoming 2018-19 school year, and a variety of teaching positions are available for grades K-5, special education, science and mathematics, and reading and language arts.
