Pilot International Launches Brain Health and Safety Campaign during Brain Awareness Week

MACON, Ga. - March 12, 2018 - PRLog -- This week Pilot International works with clubs around the world to promote Brain Awareness Week. Informational and interactive resources will be used by the more than 300 clubs to promote brain safety tips and facts related to brain injuries.

Pilot International is also pleased to showcase its BrainMinders™ program for children, youth and older adults. BrainMinders™ is a signature program of Pilot International introduced in 2001.  The program was enhanced and expanded in 2017, and Pilots and Anchors use it in their communities throughout the country.  Its educational and entertaining curriculum covers a broad span of brain health and safety topics.  For children, the topics include personal fitness, bus safety, playground safety, seat belt use, fire safety, gun safety, bullying and more.  For youth, parents and teachers, brain health and safety resources are now available on our Pilot website at https://www.pilotinternational.org/member-resource-category/brainminders-resources/.   For older adults, the topics cover brain exercises and safety tips. While we are energized to promote brain health and safety this week, we have always had a focus on brain safety and will continue our efforts when the week is complete.
