Jamestown Buys The Ellington in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON - March 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Jamestown todayannouncedtheacquisition of The Ellington in Washington, DC from TH Real Estate. The addition of the 190 unit rental apartment property adds to Jamestown's portfolio of multi-family and their growing collection of DC assets.

The property is located on 13^th Street in the historic U Street neighborhood, which has seen a recent wave of revitalization and development. The neighborhood is considered one of DC's most walkable and is highly amenities and The Ellington is adjacent to the Metro. Built in 2004, The Ellington also includes 16,760 square feet of retail. Existing tenants include Mattress Firm, United Bank, several restaurants, and a wine bar. Jamestown is planning renovations to the common spaces and retail through 2019.
