Polsinelli's Torres Bruner Recognized as Top Woman in Energy

DENVER - March 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Ghislaine Torres Bruner, an energy litigation attorney and shareholder with Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli (http://www.polsinelli.com/), has been named a Top Woman in Energy by the Denver Business Journal.

Top Women in Energy 2018 recognizes women who are key influencers in the metro Denver area energy sector. Women are nominated from across industries including exploration, production, engineering, public policy, law and more.

Bruner recently joined (https://www.polsinelli.com/newsevents/pr-ghislaine-torres-bruner) Polsinelli and has extensive national and international experience handling litigation and transactional matters for energy clients. For more than 15 years, she has been litigating cases that throughout the years have included energy, oil and gas, environmental and natural resources, air quality, water quality, negligence, products liability, torts and appellate matters.

Prior to being named a Top Woman in Energy, Bruner has been included by the Denver Business Journal on its "Who's Who in Energy" list.   Since 2016, Ghislaine has served as Vice Chair for Membership of the American Bar Association's Section for Energy, Environment, Resources Oil and Gas Committee, and At-large for the Air Quality Committee. She has been an active member ofthe Colorado Oil and Gas Association serving on the Local Regulatory Committee, Legal, Legislative and Committee and Environmental Health and Safety committees.

In addition to her legal career, Ghislaine has served on the Board of Colorado Ballet's Auxiliary in various capacities, and has actively participated in Colorado Scouting, most recently serving on the pack committee as advancement chair. She is a member of Colorado Hispanic Bar Association and Women's Energy Network- Denver, Colorado Chapter.

Bruner earned her J.D. from Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University and Master of Laws degree from Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver, Environmental and Natural Resources Law and Policy program. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Florida International University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
