-- The host of "The Socio-Criminologist is Richard Decker MSCJ, Ph.D. candidate Capella University (expected 2020). Mr. Decker explains "I use my education and 20 years experience as a former Criminal Defense Investigator to explore sociological and criminological issues that affect us all. We must take a global interdisciplinary approach we look at issues concerning criminal justice, social behaviors, and social attitudes." The show addresses current events to discuss issues that are important to our democracy and our liberty of criminal justice and discusses topics using legitimate research bringing the facts to the table. Mr. Decker is the CEO of Decker Criminology Advisors, where he collaborates internationally on criminal justice and social issues. Mr. Decker also collaborates domestically and internationally on research topics like the mentally ill and law enforcement, diversity in law enforcement, the history of criminology, justice & democracy, human capital, group-think behaviors, social attitudes on success, social stigmas, Post-traumatic growth, prosocial behaviors, profiling, and is an advocate for the cognitively delayed, and other marginalized populations supporting human rights.
