Leadership Middle Tennessee to Tour Region in Blackhawk Helicopters

LEBANON, Tenn. - March 6, 2018 - PRLog -- The Leadership Middle Tennessee Class of 2018 is set to take flight from the Lebanon Municipal Airport in 4 Blackhawk Helicopters with The Tennessee National Guard 1-230th Assault Battalion. As part of a 10-month program, that was founded to inspire and engage business leaders to positive action throughout the region, the class's March session is focused on the study of critical regional issues of transportation from various angles throughout Middle Tennessee. This study includes connecting communities and regions by rail, bus, plane and even, by trolley. "Leadership Middle Tennessee thanks Major General Jeff Holmes and the Tennessee National Guard for providing a fantastic experience for the Class of 2018, as well as classes dating back almost 20 years. Leadership Middle Tennessee provides leaders with unique experiences to connect with the region and seeing middle Tennessee with a bird's eye view from a Blackhawk helicopter is one of the highlights of our 10-month journey," says Leadership Middle Tennessee President Lee Rucks.

The Blackhawk Helicopters, carrying more than 35 LMT class members, is set to depart this Thursday, March 8th at 9 a.m. for a bird's eye tour over the Middle Tennessee Region.

Leadership Middle Tennessee is a regional leadership program founded to engage community and business leaders in the 10-county region of Middle Tennessee. The program is a series of 10 monthly day-and-a-half issues-focused sessions designed to give participants a greater understanding of the critical issues and key players in the region, motivating them to use their skills to become regionally engaged. Participating counties are Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson Counties.

The mission of Leadership Middle Tennessee is to inspire community leaders to action by providing a forum for regional networking, collaboration, strategic thinking, and action learning.
