Catering by George Celebrates 30th Anniversary

HOUSTON - March 19, 2018 - PRLog -- Full-service Houston caterer, Catering by George, is celebrating its 30th year of creating fresh foods delivered with extraordinary service. In the last 30 years, Catering by George has delivered and executed thousands of catered events for corporations, bridal couples and Houston families.

It all started in 1988 with Executive Chef Jeffrey George, who was the sole salesperson, bookkeeper, chef and dishwasher. Shortly after, Jeffrey George met Kim Depta of Classic Events. After a number of years of planning events together, including their wedding, Kim joined Jeffrey and the Catering by George team full-time in 1997. Since then, Kim has taken over the company's day-to-day operations and financial management as well as certifying Catering by George as a Women Owned Business with the WBEA. This has allowed Jeffrey to focus on the kitchen operations and event productions.

Thirty years later, Kim, Jeffrey and the entire team still have the same number one priority: serving fresh, delicious food. "We love food, we love our clients and we love events and seeing people enjoying them!" said Kim George, president. "We have created a successful business by treating employees and clients like family and have continued to grow because of our focus on providing good value to our clients."
