FRANKTOWN, Colo. - March 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Beginning this Friday, March 9th at 8:00pm, Promise Ranch Therapeutic Riding will rally its supporters to help advance the organization in an online, single-elimination, bracket-style fundraising tournament. Promise Ranch hopes to defend their 2017 Brackets for Good Championship title and win the grand prize of $10,000!

Promise Ranch has been providing adaptive and therapeutic riding experiences for children and adults with physical, developmental, and/or cognitive disabilities since 2008. Promise Ranch also provides weekly support groups specifically for Veterans and Servicemembers of the Armed Forces.

Sharon Tiraschi, the Executive Director of Promise Ranch told us, "At Promise Ranch, we're passionate about sharing the healing power of horses. As we move into our 10th year of operation, we're continuing to grow and improve our current programs, but are also expanding our reach and building critical community partnerships that will allow us to help more people. We are eager to begin helping children in the foster care system as well as adults in mental health and addiction recovery programs this year."

By participating in Brackets for Good Denver 2018, Promise Ranch hopes to raise needed funds to support their extraordinary horses and innovative programs, but also to expose more and more people to the incredible benefits that come from working with, riding, and simply being in the presence of horses.

Indianapolis-based Brackets For Good pairs with corporate and nonprofit sponsors to host online bracket-style fundraising tournaments in philanthropic communities around the United States. Brackets for Good has raised more than $6.4 million for charitable nonprofits 2012. Participating nonprofits rally enthusiastic donors to out-fundraise their opponents in order to advance. Dollars from donors translate to points, giving nonprofit participants the opportunity to advance in their bracket. Competing nonprofits keep donations received during tournament play, no matter how many rounds they advance. The winning organization in each tournament receives an additional championship grant of $10,000.
