Regroup COO Departs To Take Up CEO Role

CHICAGO - March 1, 2018 - PRLog -- Gregory Kris, the veteran technology executive and Regroup's chief operating officer, has left the company.

Regroup is the tele-psychiatry company and recent winner of the Chicago Innovation Award for social innovation.

Kris notified Regroup of his decision to resign on Jan. 15th, as he plans to accept an interim Chief Executive Officer position.

He joined Regroup as a board member in early 2016, and in 2017, was invited to run the day to day operations of the organization as COO. Prior to Regroup, Kris worked for several years as a health tech CEO and most recently was CEO of European telemedicine company, Your.MD.

"The challenge of taking a company of Regroup's size and resources and growing it so swiftly, has been exceptionally rewarding. I'm immensely proud that the organization has already far exceeded our 2018 revenue targets, and in the process, made a significant impact on the mental health landscape in the USA." said Kris.

During his time as COO, Gregory Kris grew Regroup's revenues and margins significantly.

Regarding Kris' s departure, Regroup CEO David Cohn expressed respect and appreciation for the departing executive, saying: "Gregory has been instrumental in our success. We're sad at his leaving, and yet happy that he's left us with a clear path to continued success."

Kris will stay on as a Senior Advisor to the executive team through a transition period, and his day to day role will be filled by other members of Regroup's leadership team as the company prepares for another year of record growth.
