London, UK - Press Launch for B.Y.O.C. Discovery Club Event

CITY OF LONDON, U.K. - March 1, 2018 - PRLog -- Press Launch for B.Y.O.C. Discovery Club - for press and media audiences over the age of 18

Piloted in 2017, March will see the launch of BYOC's 2018 Discovery Club programme.

Running in parallel to BYOC's usual "disruptor cocktail bar" activities, Discovery Club is a programme designed specifically for cocktail connoisseurs or those simply eager to learn more about quality spirits.

Initially programmed for Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. each Discovery Club event will profile one quality spirit, whether established and respected names or niche artisan creations.

Patrons attending a Discovery Club event will be welcomed with the featured brand's signature serve cocktail. They will then be introduced to the featured spirit by a relevant expert, whether the owner, distiller, master blender or brand ambassador, learning interesting and fun facts and insider stories about the featured spirit.

The expert will then lead the patrons through a traditional "straight" tasting and they will also have an opportunity to ask questions. After this, patrons can socialise and savour three bespoke cocktails created in situ in response to the featured spirit by BYOC's expert mixologists.

The "value plus" with Discovery Club events is that the event fee remains the same as with a normal BYOC booking at £30, but in this case, all alcohol is included in the charge.

Discovery Club Press Launch Event

Members of the press are invited to the launch of B.Y.O.C. Discovery Club on Thursday 15 March, 3 to 5 p.m. at B.Y.O.C. City. Details of the venue can be found here https://www.byoc.co.uk/city/

The schedule for the event will mimic that of the Discovery Club itself and those attending will have the chance to be served a range of unique BYOC cocktails prepared in situ during the launch.

Rather than focus on as single spirit brand—as will be the case with the upcoming Discovery Club events themselves—at the press launch BYOC will outline details of the forthcoming programme, including a number of planned premières, an overview of the most popular spirit categories and brands brought to the bars by patrons and evolving "experience" drinks culture.

It will naturally also offer the attending press an opportunity to experience B.Y.O.C. City in much the same way that patrons do on an evening out at Discovery Club.

About B.Y.O.C.

BYOC is a small chain of cocktail bars that sells no alcohol. Inspired by the Prohibition-era speakeasy and the birth of cocktail culture in the 1920s, patrons bring spirits of their choice with them. A booking guarantees seats and the personal attention of a first class mixologist who creates unique cocktails from the alcohol patrons bring with them using the finest quality syrups, bitters, purées, herbs, fruits and spices.
