Valesco Fund II, LP Announces Final Closing with $292,660,000 in Total Capital Commitments

DALLAS - March 1, 2018 - PRLog -- Valesco Industries ("Valesco") is pleased to announce the successful closing of Valesco Fund II, LP ("Fund II" or "VFII"), completed on January 22nd, 2018 bringing total committed capital to $292.7 million. VFII is managed by Dallas-based Valesco, and is the successor fund to Valesco Commerce Street Capital, LP ("Fund I"). Commerce Street Capital, LLC was engaged as the placement agent for Fund I and Fund II. Valesco had significant support from its existing investor base in Fund I, of which nearly 70% of investors from Fund I committed to Fund II, along with noteworthy commitments from new limited partners. Valesco has made three investments thus far out of Fund II and is currently pursuing additional opportunities expected to close in first quarter 2018 with a full pipeline behind them. Consistent with the investment strategy of its predecessor fund, Valesco will invest $5 million to $25 million of capital into both equity and subordinated debt securities, and in controlling and minority positions. The primary focus of VFII is to identify, and partner with companies seeking growth capital, liquidity recapitalizations, and ownership transitions.
