Uber drops appeal over English language tests for London drivers

Uber has dropped its legal challenge to English language tests for private hire drivers' licences.
LONDON - Feb. 28, 2018 - PRLog -- Uber has decided to back down from their stance of standing against the English Language Test for PHV drivers. This serves as a massive blow for those drivers who were hoping the app giant could actually win this appeal.

After TFL refused Uber's bid to renew it's operating licence for not being a "fit and proper" operator, Uber has decided to play ball. Even introducing new safety measure nationwide.

It looks like the new B1 English Language test is here to stay, with Uber admitting defeat and backing down. Private hire vehicle drivers should now plan their English courses and start thinking about their exams before it's too late.

At Intelligent Training Academy, we provide English classess specially geared towards preparing cab drivers for their English exam for TFL. At the end of the course, those that are ready can sit a TFL acceptable English test with us.
