United Premier Soccer League Hosts SoCal AGM This Saturday!

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 27, 2018 - PRLog -- The United Premier Soccer League today announced it will host the UPSL SoCal Annual General Meeting 2018 this weekend in Long Beach (Calif.).

The UPSL 2018 SoCal AGM will be held at the Holiday Inn Long Beach Airport in the Newport Room (2640 N. Lakewood Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90815), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 3.

The UPSL SoCal AGM will take place just minutes from Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world.

United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "We are pleased to announce that the United Premier Soccer League will be back in Southern California on Saturday, March 3, as we encourage any and all like-minded soccer people folks from all over the Western region to join us at our AGM. The UPSL continues to achieve tremendous growth, and SoCal is the UPSL's home base where we first embraced Pro Development soccer and created the UPSL's Pro/Rel Model. We look forward to making new friends this weekend in Long Beach."

Southern California's five largest counties – Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino and Riverside – are among the United States' 15 most populous, and the motion picture, television and music industry are all centered in Los Angeles.

UPSL officials and representatives will be on hand to talk about the expansive growth of the UPSL, Corporate Sponsorship, Marketing and Communications, and explain the necessary steps to compete in the league and help answer any questions.

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 140 teams in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 140-plus teams targeted for 2018 Spring Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.

UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
