39th Annual Paper in Particular

TEMECULA, Calif. - Feb. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Terri Stiles Alkayali is pleased to announce the opening of the 39th Annual Paper in Particular exhibition at The Sidney Larson Gallery, Columbia College, Missouri.

Judged by Tamryn McDermott, the director of admissions at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University In Philadelphia, PA., this exhibition showcases the very best in art that incorporates paper as a primary element. The show features the newest masterwork by Terri Stiles Alkayal, Temet, a second generation assemblage made from recycled paper cast and painted in gold re-examines beliefs.

Terri Stiles Alkayali illuminates society's collective expansion in works molded from packaging and other discarded objects. Utilizing the automatic process she allows each piece to communicate with elements drawn magnetically together to express themselves and create a story without any direct influence from the artist.

Terri Stiles Alkayali holds an M.A. and M.F.A. and has been awarded a grant and other honors throughout her career. She exhibits in galleries and institutions and her work is included in corporate and private collections.

The 39th Annual Paper in Particular exhibition will run from February 19th-March 30th in the Columbia College Sidney Larson Gallery.
