PHOENIX - Feb. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- In its third year of supporting Autism Speaks and Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), MC Companies was pleased to present a contribution of over $100,000 to be shared among the two nonprofits.

With 1 in 68 children in the U.S. diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) each year, MC Companies realizes the urgency to support the programs, services and research underway for individuals with ASD.

Throughout the 2017 calendar year, MC Companies' employees raised funds in a variety of creative ways for the annual Autism Speaks Walk in Partnership with SARRC, including:
  • Hours4Autism, allowing employees to donate unused PTO hours to benefit Autism Speaks and SARRC.

  • The 1% Program where MC Companies' vendors contribute 1% of their annual spend to the MC Companies Sharing the Good Life Foundation.

  • Spike It for Autism Volleyball Tournament where employees and other industry professionals come together and rally for autism through an annual volleyball tournament raising thousands of dollars.

MC Companies is proud of their philanthropic commitments to Autism Speaks and SARRC. It has become a core aspect of their company from the top down and has added a value to their organization that cannot be measured.

Since 2015 more than $250,000 has been raised in support of Autism Speaks and SARRC. Learn more about each of these innovative programs MC Companies has successfully launched at How You Can Support Autism Speaks and learn how you can bring these programs into your organization.
