-- The Western Nevada Football Club is proud to announce its new mascot the Coyote!
General Managing Partner Ian Hill stated, "We believe the coyote best exemplifies the spirit, the speed, and the tenacity of our team. Coyotes, a crafty animal that routinely hunts pray that is much larger than itself. We also love the amazing job done by graphic artist, Fabio Torres and his artistry in our new badge. It really captures the beauty of the Sierra's and the colors depict the strength and spirit of Northern Nevada."
Western Nevada FC Coyotes was inspired by co-owner Art Castanares, who had the idea of the Coyote representation. Coyotes travel in a pack fighting side by side. They choose to attack the larger prey front on because of their intelligence to fight together. This is what the club will be doing for everybody on the field. Confronting our obstacles that are ahead head on because we will be fighting together with the supporting fans that we have. We are all part of the coyote pack in this together for success.
