Canadian Music Great George Canyon Plays Brooklin Spring Fair
"We are thrilled to create this new event for this year's Fair", says Kristin Williamson, President of Board of Directors. "The kick off concert, with George Canyon and Greg Williams, is an exciting opportunity that will attract loyal fair goers as well as introducing new people to our community during Fair weekend".
Canyon has delighted fans from far and wide with his songs and stories. Inducted into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015, George continues to thrill audiences from coast to coast. Winner of countless awards for his music and his philanthropy, George Canyon is also an actor and an activist.
According to Williamson, "both George Canyon and Greg Williams are amazing in concert and we are lucky to have them play the Brooklin Spring Fair for this first-ever opening concert".
The concert will be held on Thursday, May 31 in the Back Forty of the Brooklin Spring Fair grounds. Advanced lawn tickets are $30.00 and are on sale as of February 13, 2018. Limited tickets will be available at the gate for $40.00. Admission to the Fair is not included in the ticket price. The Back Forty will only be open to concert ticket holders on the evening of May 31.
All the traditional favourites will be back at the Fair during the first weekend in June (May 31 to June 3, 2018). Details at www.brooklinspringfair.com.
