Minika Ko to Join #METOO Fashion Show at New York Fashion Week
By: Minika Ko LLC
Minika will present "The Goddess and Gladiator", her collection of avant-garde, one of a kind pieces birthed from collaboration with social activist sculptor Takashi Horisaki. She redefines beauty by highlighting the exquisitely paradoxical attributes of all women: composed wisdom and mighty strength, vulnerability and courage, goddess and gladiator. By celebrating the complex yet common heroine, Minika aims to celebrate the fearlessness that shines within her fellow women, and it is this same courage that has set the #MeToo movement aflame. The show will also feature a sneak preview of Minika's 2018 ready to wear line, "the Knockouts."
Sponsored by American Wardrobe and produced by Myriam Chalek, the fashion show will feature Minika and other designers who dedicate their creation to the #MeToo movement.
