Follow on Google News | Ribbon Cutting & 5th Year Anniversary: February 20, 2018By: Stronger Than Espresso The National Network to End Domestic Violence conducted a Census of Domestic Violence Services with 93% of the currently identified domestic violence programs in the United States participating and reporting their statistics. The census revealed that on one day, September 16, 2015, there were 5,807 people were served in the state of Texas but 12,197 unmet requests nationally. Stronger Than Espresso seeks to serve such a gap in services by providing opportunities for healing after violence since 2013. Dr. Brooke Jones, Founder and President says: "At Stronger, we believe everyone has the right to be safe in their own homes. We come to work every day passionate to meet this need in our community." This event will be in conjunction with the McKinney Chamber of Commerce with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Stronger than Espresso has recently signed a new multi-year lease to continue to keep their corporate offices in McKinney. February 2018 marks the 5th year anniversary of the very first Stronger than Espresso small healing group led by Dr. Brooke Jones, right here in McKinney, Texas. The stand-up event will begin promptly at the offices of Stronger than Espresso 175 S. Ridge Road, Suite 400, McKinney, Texas 75071 at 11:30 am. Those who attend this event will participate in the movement to empower survivors to reclaim what abuse took away. Stronger Than Espresso is a Dallas-based non-profit organization specializing in healing after violence, awareness, education, and trauma healing for survivors of domestic violence.
